Thank you for your valuable information. I am upgrading my eyepieces that I am using right now with C11(F/10) scope. My eyepieces are SVBONY 68 ° 15mm(red line) - Celestron 40mm plössl(came with the telescope) And 2x Barlow. Now, I am going for 2'' diagonal and eyepieces. I bought Baader 2''Clicklock Mirror Star Diagonal, Pentax XW 40mm 70° , Astro-Tech 20mm XWA 100° , Astro-Tech 13mm XWA 100°. Do you think I will have better views from those eyepieces? I know I would not be amazed with the difference of views but I am expecting at least some improvement than my Svbony and Standart Celestron eyepieces..

I think you are well equipped for your f/10 telescope. Enjoy your eyepieces and push them to their limit ! If you ever wanted to upgrade , get a Celestron focal reducer and you will not need anything for a long time. Remember the best thing about a telescope is using it, to look at the amazing cosmos !

Can I ask another question. If the whole of Icelands volcanoes are awakening instead of building more walls to divert the lava cannot there be large dug out channels heading towards the sea. That way the lava will go and make icelands land larger. It would be cheaper to dig out rather than dig out and build up high walls.

I have an 8 inch dobsonian and definitely I prefer to stand when using a dobsonian. Luckily I have lots of cinder blocks laying around, I use 6 of them, 2 for each dobsonian foot and it raises the eyepiece height nicely for me. The 8 inch dobsonian is probably the most popular telescope on earth, the best combination of price, ease of setup and use, and the capability of seeing many thousands of objects.

That is something I have not tried, but if it is the same as eyepieces Meade makes, that must be excellent, like other eyepieces from Meade. Please enjoy your choice and push it to its limit! I would be delighted to know how it does on Jupiter.

You are most welcome! That Skywatcher Evostar is a well kept secret in my opinion. It has the built quality that I don't see in many other classic or modern refractors. My first view through it was observation of the crescent Moon in daylight and I was so much impressed by it that I immediately went and bought one for myself !

That operator has got to be the coolest head in the hottest environment. He or She knows their machine and are spreading to a very thin layer the solid material on lava. Knowing the load bearing limit and getting so close to it takes a lot of calculation but in reality they are doing it by the " feel" of their machine. Absolute Respect, twice over

On the area where the gasing is on L1 where the first spill over happen has sunk down. Is this due to the heat of the lava it's covering or designed that way. Only I have noticed when the lorries go over it it's not as level as it was first thing this morning ?
